Diesel 'vette!!! Saw this in the local craigslist ads...would make a good daily driver I think.

Yea I read a little bit about that, sounded very interesting. Awhile back I had also read about a new diesel V8 GM was developing that was reverse flow with the exhaust coming out the top where the intake ports normally are and the turbos were on top and to the rear of the engine. The packaging was super compact for use in all kinds of applications. Hopefully thats the engine they are thinking of putting in the vette, would be quite the high tech ride.

You may save some $$ in fuel but the cost in time per day far outweights the savings in fuel. Not to mention embarrasing!
