Yep, they 'just fit' thru the top (with everything taken off).
I wonder if George will let me come play with no front end or exhaust or _____ on the car? I'm hoping to get the tranny installed & fire the motor up NA this weekend. We'll see....

OK, more pics to bore you with. This is what I spent all friggin day yesterday doing. I got the oil cooler, the radiator, tranny cooler & meth pump installed. I took my time to correct all the rubbing, riding, & fitment issues I had with the old car. Hopefully this will work out better....
And today I plan to weld the cover onto the floor for the auto tranny shifter & install the tranny. And with luck I'll fire it up tomorrow.

Looks as though you just may make the dyno day. Hell bring it on a trailer if ya have to. My intake will ship Monday, so maybe, just maybe, I will make it also. Anyway, the engine bay is looking sweet. Do you think it will top your old set up in the looks dept? Any ideas going on how to clean up the wiring harness along the fuel rails, this is a stumbling block for me. Might try and do some sort of aluminum tube cover?

Will it look better than before? I'm hoping it will, but what with all you copy-cats getting Vic Jrs now, the 'different look' idea is gone. But the FMIC has one polished tube & no plenum with an ATI race bypass valve, so it should look more like a serious FI car.
As for wire harnesses, I'm hiding what I can, cleaning up others, but there will still be tons of crap showing. The Colby Show on Mermorial Day in Evt will be the acid test.

That's odd, I can, it's sitting here in a box.....
Got the tranny in. It slipped right in place, easiest one I've ever done. THANKS CHAD! And then it took me over an hour to get the dip stick tube in. Chad dropped his fuel tank, replaced the pump & stuck it back in his car in the same amount of time.

For me now it's the fun stuff
Running the fuel line, wiring, switches, drop the tranny, replace clutch, find oil leak...ugh.
I'll help you get that seal in there if you take care of my list for me.

You mean FI (as in EYE).....
I finally am getting around to fabbing up the FMIC. Took me a while to figure out how the top tube was suppose to run, but now it looks like it will all fit quite nicely. So if I can get this installed & fire the motor up this weekend, and get some welding done, then all I need is the SDCE bracket to show up.
Piece of cake.
