New new setup is ordered and is on it's way!!!
Got it all buttoned up , had Speed Secrets throw in a base tune to make sure it would start and she fired right up.
Still need a few bolts for the collector, couple more hoseclamps, wire in the fan....other small stuff i'm sure i'm forgetting but all in all it sounds like a monster.

I can not wait to take it for a spin.
It will be the LONGEST 500 break-in miles ever. I guess i'll have to use it to drive to work every day till it's broken in. It will be very VERY hard to not hammer it till it's broken in.
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
we need video! and I need to find a big bag of money on the side of the road lol

During the first few hundred miles i'm going to try to stay out of boost for the most part.

To sum up how this thing drives now all I can say is Holy $hit!
It has a ton more torque down low, you hit 3k rpm's and hang on!
I have taken it upto 4k so far at <1/2 throttle and it just rips the tires loose even in 3rd! The roads were a little damp but I did this in the dry stretch of road.
1/4 throttle pulls harder than the old motor did at full throttle!
I can not wait till the rings are fully broken in so I can hammer on it and see exactly what it's got.
I asked Ellis to do a quick tune before the engine was even ready to fire because he had to leave and do some things and wouldn't be around for the 1st firing. With whatever he put in the car started immediately, idled! and runs with no hesitation.
Today I finally got to put a few miles on it with his tune and I had my hptuners plugged into so I could log and keep an eye on KR, temp and stuff. So far no KR at all! Thank you.
I got some photos, i'll start a new thread with pics and stuff in a day or two. I'll try to get a quick video of it running and perhaps driving.
Thanks to Bob and the guys at EPP for putting together an awesome motor, getting it here fast and answering my dozens of calls with questions. The motor was crated and protected extremely well.
Started on it Thursday evening, drove it home Sunday evening. Total hours I spent on it would be about 30. Couldn't have done it so quick without Ellis and Mark's help. Thank you very much!
Plinker, sorry man but santa had to get home and he was following me incase anything went wrong. You will see it up there for tuning soon.
Ellis, I borrowed your 8mm battery disconnect tool for the drive home....i'll bring it back asap.
