5.3 Rx7 Project is Back on Track Hey All, I haven't been around for a while, but I am back and now here to stay 
I have been doing a lot of thinking/jumping around on what to do with my FC. I started off getting a 5.3 block that needed machined. Well I figured I didn't really have the cash to rebuild the engine and get the parts for a ls1 style swap.
So then I found a machined 327 block with the thoughts of using some of the parts from a built up 327 that is in my/dads vette.
After starting to go down that path some friends convinced me to get a 2.3 turbo, and I got a decent one that was complete with turbo and everything. That was going good and then my friend went and screwed it all up. He took me for a ride in his newly completed mustangII with a 302 swap. And that just made me realize I need a V8.
Which takes me to where I am at now, I just got a complete 5.3 engine that supposedly had 83K on it and 150psi compression. Got it from foster auto parts so I assume they are a good company. I did turn it over by hand and it sounds good.
So now I have 2 complete engines, 2 blocks and a TON of rotary parts to get rid of. Hopefully this will fund the project and get my GF off my back about the garage

So now begins the LONG process of getting F or Y body accessories so I can put my ls1 manifold on and get it in my RX7.

changing directions gets expensive.... I know, I did the same thing on some of my systems(cooling, fuel, more). hopefully you get some cash out of the parts.... speaking of that, I need to go through my leftovers & try to get some cash out of them
