G13 gathering
Can we get off the "______ car almost hit _____ car" theme?! Not saying it doesn't suck, but certainly does not speak for the rest of us who had a freaking blast at the event!!! I had an awesome time, and met some great people there!

just so happened G13 was still going on and a couple buddies from chat were there. One sent me a pic of the zr1 and I had to stop by and see them and the car while leaving the atl air port. Well I shot the **** with my friends and before leaving. I saw this cammed lt1 body style Camaro (i think it was a red or hugger vert) Well when backing out to leave I revved at him just to mess around 6000rpm. He almost looked(as if he was really trying not to) and he glanced and didn't look over. I was simply expecting a rev back. Immediatly after that I was trying to back out and these two white SSs were trying to (not let me out). Anyhow one of these ladies( I think who helps put on the event) gave them "the hand" for them to stop to let me out.
I just felt like, "damn are those the kinds of people I really associate myself with?" I know I was in my wife's stang but damn, you never know who's really in what car and so on. I'm a huge camaro fan but I don't want to be viewed like I viewed those guys which is maybe arrogant, rude, and discourteous.
I think yea that guy could use some driving lessons in the pewter car with drive out tags too. He needs a v6 or something.
^ dunno man I was talking with some people and this one guy had two stangs, and people made some jokes and such but it was just in good fun.

yea I hear ya. Its way different if you're in a stang(even if its because you want to keep yours clean in the garage
) its as if I wasn't even respected as another human being because I was in a stang.
I view myself as more of a soloist... I don't need clubs, car shows, or gatherings anymore. I just like to do my own thing. I used to love clubs, shows, and the whole hanging out thing but I guess my tastes have changed.
I've seen many car shows and have seen misjudging that helon keller could've done a better job at. One of my buddies won a trophy this year in the "stock 93-97," class...
He has a 97 t/a, with a c5 y2k wheels, ws6 hood, ceta mod on rear, LS1 swap cammed, headers, catback, spray etc.... and yes he told the registration folks about the mods

I had fun with my lil crew. really didn't get a chance to drink as much due to the rain. I did pick up the class winner for Pro Modified. and our Bumblebee 5th Gen came as runner up. in that class However it did win the Varsity cruise top 10

nice pics, good to see a few of mine were in there! i was runner-up in the super modified class to the pewter SS with stripes and hp evo wheels. it was clean as hell and had a pretty cool display made up. very stock-ish engine bay but it was deserving nonetheless
That will be changed for next year, the interior was this year's project.
