Regardless of the outcome tonight this has been a tough fought series and both teams deserve it.

Agreed on the statement. I was in the Houston area last week at my daughters house during games 1 & 2 but couldn`t score tickets that I could afford. I just wore some Astros gear and hoped for the best.

 

Impossible to win without hitting which was what has plagued the Astros in this series not to mention losing some key pitchers to injuries. Congratulations to the 2021 World Champion Atlanta Braves!

 

I've been a Braves fan since the early 70's and this was just amazing. After losing Morton to a broken leg I figured Astros win in 5 or 6. Crazy unexpected pitching by the Braves. Fried was really the only ace left and he certainly delivered. Jorge Soler became Reggie Jackson and it was all a treat for any Braves fan. I expected World Series wins with Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz on the mound and Chipper in the lineup yet it only happened once during all those division titles.
Baseball is so strange in that regard. Thank heavens I don't bet on games.
