Was painting a few things under the hood... and everything came out okay except my driver side fuel rail cover. Not sure how to fix this, Should I wait a few days for it to dry and then wet sand it and paint again? if thats the way to fix it... what grit should i use?

thanks in advance

yes, I used a sand able primer. I let it dry for an hour, re sanded it down with like a 600 grit and then sprayed my base coat. what should i sand it down with when i'm going to respray?

make sure you let it dry or you will have some cracking problems, I would think sand it with 320 or 400 but maybe someone else will chime in.

never want to bust through the primer when sanding primer on raw plastic...when you re spray dust a very light coat, let it flash.(dry) another light coat, untill completely covered then a medium coat then clear it...thats what i would do...
