how much orange is too much? ok guys i need help. My wifes 93 drag car is going to the body shop for a total repaint in two weeks. the one definate is that it is going to be House of Kolor tangelo pearl. my questions are 1. it is a hardtop car and should the roof and sail panel be orange or black. and 2. how would this look with a black hockey stick stripe? the car is sitting on a set of bogart d10s

Have the roof painted black along with door handles, and mirrors. I need to do the sail panel black though now, in the process of doing so. I'd say black hockey stripes would look good, anything black to break up a bright color usually works good. Heres my car not exact color but similar:

that looks good and was exactly what i wanted to see. i think the black roof looks good.

if your paint the rood orange i would do the zl1 style single stripe down the middle of the car in black. but if your not into that i would paint the roof mirrors and handles black and the rest of the car orange and if you want add the hockey stripes.
Nice color orange. I would definitely do the roof and sail black, but do the handles and mirrors orange. Camaro's flow way better with body colored mirriors for sure with the way the mirrors mold into the front fenders. And not sure about a hockey stripe, but i'd do black or charcoal grey for sure, probably black if it has a black roof. Some kind of hood stripe would have my vote over a hockey.

im thinking you guys are spot on. im gonna paint the roof and sail panel black and the handles and mirrors orange.
as far as the hood goes it already has a vfn lift off sunoco hood on it (the huge one)
and i believe that it makes a statement on its own.

The color is so good you want as much of it in that color as possible. If its a hardtop I say all orange. If its got ttops i like the top half left black. flows better that way. no stripes
