I have a new front bumper and driver side fender in my shed ready to be put on. Is it a hard thing to do can can i do it alone. i asked a buddy of mine to help me out but hes fat and slow and never want to do anything but sit on his butt and eat. How long would it take?

I haven't done a bumper but I did my fender by myself. It isn't overly difficult just takes some time and need to be a little careful not to smack stuff. I didn't use any directions either, just took note of how it came apart and what needed to come off to do it. Bumper doesn't look any more difficult though really.

I might have to tackle it when it warms up a little.

I just did the fender yesterday it was pretty easy. I was going to start the front bumper but it started raining. It seems pretty easy though. Where do people mount there front plates. I'm in VA and i'm required to have front and rear plates. I think cars look way better without the front license plates on. Ive seen a couple of pics where people mount them behind the bumper. Does that even work? Cops are weird out here.
