new VHT idea. will it work? i want to black out my four corners and third brake light but my tail lights-i just want to give them a tint of black so they will not be as red. so here is my idea. instead of then having to wetsand or clear coat after vht'ing my tails. what about cutting them open and applying the vht to the inside? it should cut back the daytime light which causes it be as bright but still be a shade of red as the red plastic would still be on the "viewing side" of the vht. does anyone understand? if so, do you think it would work?
the viewing side is the one you want to change the color of tinting the inside wont do anything except make the light that comes through from your bulbs more dim. you wont be effecting the reflective part of the lense at all by tinting the inside of the light houseing. chevyboy28 is right clear and black base will do the trick
