Windshield installation. New trim needed?

Default Windshield installation. New trim needed?
Do you need a new trim kit when installing a new windshield? I'm afraid of damaging the old one during removal?

yes the moulding will have to be cut off to replace the windshield on a 4th gen f-body

I already bought new seals when I had my glass put back in. When the Safelite guy came, he had a new seal. He said they always brought new seals for the front and back.

So ask whoever you have do your glass if they supply new seals. If you're not reinstalling it.

They usually have universal seal kits on their trucks. Sometimes they have to order OEM tho.

thats dumb.....when i got my new windshield installed, they were gonna charge me extra for new seals so i just opted for the original seal
