Get some laquer thinner or rubbing alcohol. Try it out on a small spot, i am assuming you have base coat clear coat system.

laquer thinner will dull the paint, and depending on the paint type, it may remove it! laquer thiner is a very strong thinner. I would never use it on any paint i wanted to keep. use mothers cleaner wax , or any type of cleaner wax.
it should take it right off.

On paint, laquer thinner is very aggressive, I would start with something safer like cleaner wax>clearcoat compound>white compound.

Laquer thinner is a very agressive method to try at first..... That is my last resort for anything. And you need to use very little at a time... VERY LITTLE. Or you can do some damage. I've never physically seen it dull the paint.. I know applied in to much can damage it if not properly handled. A detailer i know uses it here and there.... and this guys good. just wouldn't recommend it for people who don't know how to handle it... You could also try a little bit of carburetor cleaner. Just use it sparingly as well..... BUT make sure to wax over the area after words.

use the least aggressive things first.
