does any one know what the paint code is for a Black 2005 C6 Corvette?
or where i can find it in the glove box?

Black is black pretty much. As long as there's no metallics, you're good.

um... not even close to being correct. WA8555 just by itself has 8 different variations

We use the same premixed black for every make and model. It always matches, no blend necessary. There are a couple models who have a slightly brownish black and the ones with metallics, and they are the only ones you actually have to mix to the code.

i don't doubt you can "match" a lot of blacks with just a standard mix... but don't tell the guy black is black.. cuz its just not true

maybe i just look at paint all day and have an eye for variation... but there is a huge difference in black paint to me

lol I look at paint for a living. Variation is what I do. Black is pretty much black. But to each his own.
