Default tail light gap

I had euro tail lights on my car ( i know i know) and swapped for some perfect condition stockers and now i have a gap on the upper outer part of the driver side tail light where it meets the quarter panel. The passenger side is good enough, but the driver side is slightly larger. Its not bad, and im sure im the only one that will ever notice it, but its just enought to **** me off lol any help guys? any ideas? i bought my car from the original owner, and he said it was never in an accident, and i know there is a clean carfax so i dont know. Any ideas?

Pull the light back off and check the harness routing, if it bunches up behind the light it can make it sit funny.

i checked that the passenger side has like a 1/4 inch maybe 1/8 of an inch gap and the driver side has like 1/4 to 1/3 inch i may be off on my sizes. its good enough on the passenger side, but the driver side looks off to my eyes.
