Quick wetsanding question???
im in the process of repainting my berger panel for my camaro cuz the ******* who did it before me did a crappy job.. i just resanded the whole piece starting with 150, 100, 220 grit. next i applied a few coats of primer and wet sanded that with 400 grit.. im about to paint it now but i need to know the steps for wetsanding after i paint it.. do i wetsand the paint then just clear it? or do i have to wetsand both the paint and clear??
any info/tips would help.. thanks!

Wetsand the clear only, and after it has had time to cure. You can start with 600 then, 1000 then, 2000 and finish with compound, swirl remover, then wax. Keep in mind, all this is necessary only if you want the ultimate in shine/gloss. If you only want semi-gloss you can just leave it alone otherwise, dry the area your sanding occasionally and check that all the shiny spots are gone.
The steps you have taken so far are spot on except for "150, 100, 220" typo?
don't forget to wipe down with a cleaner and tack cloth before painting!
