Paint shop peeps
I'm sure some of you out there work in paint/body shops, and I was wondering if anyone could find out some paint codes for me.
I'm looking into different silvers to paint my 93 t/a soon.
This thread (below) is out there, if anyone has some cool pics to help me, and some others decide.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/paint-bod...ariations.html
The paint colors I'm trying to spec. are:
palladium metallic (acura)
artic silver metallic (porsche)
argento nurburgring (ferrari)
mercury metallic (lexus)
metallic iridium silver (mercedes)
moonbeam (bentley)
opaline pearl (lexus)
reflex silver metallic (volkswagen)
silver gray metallic (bmw)
any help is appreciated.
also, any way you could tell me what types would cost more and why?
like pearl, metallic, types or brand differences, etc.
i'd really like to use one of these silvers when i paint, but i don't really want to spend double because a certain paint costs more.
thanks

Why not just call up the dealership parts depts of each car line and ask them for the paint codes to each specific color? I work at a MERCEDES parts dept and IRIDIUM metallic silver is 9775; you may need more info; like model/year though. Try this though http://www.automotivetouchup.com/ . This site lists many different paint codes.
