Ouch!
Here is the damage, and I was wondering if any of you knew how to fix the rear hatch (below the spoiler) on the left center side. Imagine if you open your trunk, lift the hatch to eye level and look left (on the back side); it is the first picture. How do you fix this? (you can see where it is located in the 2nd pic by the "scuffing" of the paint - it is directly behind that)
I am in the process of replacing the tail light, the tail light panel, and the spoiler (in the works of contacting someone about that, but is the one panel I don't have yet ..).
Rear hatch damage

Spoiler damage

Close up of bumper damage, and tail light panel crack

Close up of "scuffing" on rear hatch

Under/side view of cracks behind scuff

Also, here is what an hour of rubbing compound, scratch remover, and wax does for a horrible scratch
Before

After

Still sucks, but it will last until I can get it painted.

I just went with the stock Z28 spoiler from a sponsor here out of Oklahoma City. Fit perfect, and had only minor scratches that could be buffed out with good old elbow grease. Looks almost brand new!
Have the rear tail panel, and bumper in the shop for painting right now. The only evidence that one can see that it even had a problem will be the rear hatch crack ... need to get that fixed soon before winter hits ....
So far, it's been around $900 .... and still counting ....
