Damage questions i happened to have an unfortunate event the other night and fell asleep at the wheel resulting in me smoking a gaurd rail. the whole right side of the car is done including the rims and the right front tire is sittin topside bent in about a 20 degree angle and it looks like the axle might be tweaked. what are everyones thoughts? think the ins company will total my car? its an 02 ta with 101k

what kind of insuracne do you have, do you have a police report, if they do total then its up to you to buy it back or let it be totaled and you get a check for blue book value
have you gone through these steps yet, police report, contact insurance, tow it to a shop, insuracne adjustor estimate, contacts you back, any of these??
if not then ya need to do this its impossible to give estimates online

i know your pain. i did the same exact thing about 4-5 months ago in my camaro. i'll never stay up a couple days straight and then try to drive for an hour (by myself and with no radio) ever again. luckily with the height of the guard rail i hit, only the very top of the rims contacted, resulting in quite a bit of curb rash, which just looks like i cant parallel park. i didnt go through insurance though. i just payed out of pocket for another door and rear view mirror from a salvage yard, and a new fender from a place nearby, and the body shop that installed the parts/ repainted the car pulled out and fixed the quarter panel which was by far the worst part.
