Default Chrome rust problem

Okay, I'm looking for some self-help suggestions I can get for fixing the chrome bumper on my papa's Pontiac. Would appreciate any help. Again, trying to look at doing this myself before spending $$$$ sending it to a shop to repair.

Hmmm. That's what I was afraid of.

Thanks, though.

I highly doubt you will ever get all that rust off. Your best bet would be to either have that one rechromed, or by a new aftermarket one.
