Angry Duplicolor Spray Cans are JUNK

Probably 4 of 6 hi temp spray cans I've purchased I have issues w/ the spray nozzles. It leaks out all over the place and sometimes shoots globs of paint on the object your painting. I can't be the only one having this issue since 4 of 6 cans did it.

I clean them after every use but these are a different kind of nozzle I've never seen on any other spray can and you cannot even switch with another old style can.

Thank YOU! I even wrote them a nasty email a few years ago about them being junk! They never responded. If you find a good nozel keep it and just use it with whatever you are spraying. Thats what I ended up doing, I have a few good ones saved in a baby food jar.

Never had that particular problem have before. I've had their clear come out a bit funky but dried fine with no runs.

i've gone through dozens of cans of dupli-color spray paints and never had any problems. ive only had that problem pnce, with a can of VHT, and i think it was because i didnt shake it good, because it stopped after a while. i think you need to actually shake it for the amount of time they say, im pretty sure that has a pretty big effect. OR maybe all of the cans you go came from the same pack, which happened to be deffective, yet still made it to the shelves.

You have to shake the **** out of them before spraying. I personally like the "blue tip" nozzles. I used to use them at work and have sprayed through 100s of cans over the years.

Yep my VHT (which is now owned by duplicolor isn't it?) and my clearcoat cans have the blue nozzles and work just fine. Just VHTed my stock rear sidemarkers (since the black ones I got from egay are leaking water and look like crap now).

Almost every single one ive ever used has been utter crap, the spray pattern is TERRIBLE at best, its a fan pattern, but light in the middle and heavy on the sides/top. Worst spray cans ive ever used, cant tell you how many times ive bought cans where they dont spray unless there upside down(straw falling off inside).

Bought a paint gun earlier this year, never looked back.

1) you must be pretty unlucky

2) that doesn't make any sense to say that some only worked when upside down, because all dupli color paints do not spray paint when turned upside down, which is why you do that specifically to clean out the nozzle when you are done painting. because only air comes out.

I had problems with one of their cans of Hi temp paint. It came out spattering and ran down the spray nozzle. I shake the crap out spray paint so I don't think that was the problem.

I'll rule out operator error as I've never had a problem like that before or since with other brands.
