Rear bumper mounting question
Rear bumper mounting question I am getting my 95 TA back together after being apart for 2 1/2 years, I just need to get the rear bumper on but it seems I am missing something. I removed the rear bumper crash absorber and threw it away a long time ago so I don't remember what is under there stock. But I am assuming there is an integral part to that crash absorber that goes between the sheet metal mount on the rear of the car and the urethane bumper itself? Because the bumper does not fit the shape or line up with all 4 holes on that sheet metal piece.
Basically I am asking what goes between the sheet metal mount and the bumper itself so I can get one. Any ideas where to get one? All the local yards around here are picked clean of F body stuff. I was going to have one shipped from Cleveland pick a part but I need to know what to ask for first lol.

i havent had my rear end apart but my thoughts would be rear body panel to the reinforcement to the absorber/bumper. many pontiacs have the absorber attached to the bumper before install, i dont know for sure but thats usually how it goes.
