Default This how it all begins....

New Hardwood hood on the roof and some new bumpers and fenders laying everywhere.

Starting some light bodywork- got sdietracked by a bursted hose which was speewin hot hot oil everywhere

Just surverying the damages and thinking why do I do these things to myself

WHAT A MESS!!

New compressor from Sears after agueing with them for hours, they finally caved in.

New hose reel from Home Depot. Best one they had, so I bought it.

Some fresh black iron pipe waiting to be plumbed in

I can't finish one thing before starting another LOL! I started sound deadening then that got old. I bought a 2002 ebony dash and console that never got put in. The inside is gutted and is pretty much parts storage. Now I started body work and somehow I am now working on the suspension....then I got sidetracked and started to do the c5 conversion. One day it will be done... I still have to pull the back shocks and ship them after I get the compressor back in line. I mostly just stare at it and think to myself "what have I gotten myself into??" I "hope" to have it done by late March. I'll keep you guys posted...

If the car wasnt in there I would have a lot more room. I guess that should be an incentive to get moving on it. Believe it or not, my other house had a single car garage, but you couldn't walk through it either. I had to get my wife pregnant to convince her we needed a bigger house with another bedroom(and a 2 car garage). I guess I need to shoot for triplets next time...

wow man, nice project but i know how you feel! I did a front end conversion that started in 08 and i spent all spring/summer of 09 getting the car prepped and finally painted the whole car in my 1 car garage! I used to think the same way, what the hell did i do this for!! lol In the end it turned out great and saved myself a lot of $$ not having a body shop doing it!! Good luck man!
