Broken Fender Question - 99 Firebird I made a stupid mistake. While removing my fenders and bumper cover, I snapped off the 2 protruding nipples off the front of my one good fender. They were the 2 nipples on the very front of the fender that go into the bumper cover. I did it trying to separate the fender and bumper cover while that 1 horizontal screw was still in place. 
Here's my question. How important are the nipples to the fitment of the fender bumper cover? I know they are there for a reason, but there seems to be enough attachment points that it may not be that big of an issue. I'm just rebuilding a wreck and not a show car. I was hoping I wouldn't have to buy a whole new fender because of my mistake.
Any experiences or input would be appreciated.
