help help help, quick quick quick

ok bad dilema, dropped my hood off for paint today, and i plan on putting the stock one back on while that goes on, welllll i suck, i lost the bolts for the damn thing (for some reason the VFN bolts are different) don't tell me they aren't the ones for mine are. anyway i can't very well slap the hood on my car and go to auto zone to buy something universal soooo anybody, i know there are people on here that know WAYYYYY!!!!! too much, what is the shank size, length, and thread of the bolts for the hood?? the ones that go on the hinge. thank you very much in advance.

Drive it there/lowes without a hood and try some out..

ya, but how is that gonna work??? i need to try the bolts on the hood to find the right one, and the hood won't be with me. . . lol minor detail i would assume,

The bolts for the vnf hood might be standard and not metric, but i am not really sure. Do you have any bolts junks bolt lying around that you can try and see if they work

The VFN bolts are probablly 7/16 course threads. They are not metric You should be good with a 1 1/4" bolt and washer

for real, i can stuff it in the hatch??? lol, i might try that, in case there was any confusion, i am looking for the stock hood bolt sizes to hold the stock one on while i get my VFN painted, i'll go check out those sizes you sent me VFNTECH i really appreciate that, if it doesn't work i'll stuff the hood in the back haha, (i'll do that at night) lol, i dont wanna end up another one of "those pictures" haha

hmm, funny story, the hood sure does fit in the back haha, just drove it on up to advance and fitted some bolts, i even put the dammned hood on myself talk about a PITA!!!!! but it works, and now i know why i haven't thrown it away yet lol.
