Default paint cost per qt

I have a 99 silver ss and my hood and spoiler's clear coat is peeling like a redhead in July lol. How much is your average paint per qt? I have a neighbor that wanted me to get some quotes and I want to make sure he's not bending me over. If I were to go to a paint store and buy a qt, what would I be looking at? He has clear already and I'm going to help him sand a primer. Just looking for paint cost.

get it professionally addressed. you will need to blend the Sebring Silver Metallic paint into the the rest of the car, otherwise it won't look right. it's a hard color to match to aged paint correctly.

typical price for a quart of SBSM will be between the 60-80 dollar range.

Your looking at around $100 bucks for the paint alone, unless you want to use cheap paint that will probably give you the same problem you have now. And good luck on the paint match if you don't blend the adjacent panels.
