Default How to remove over spray?

Well I painted the engine bay and I have some over spray on the doors.I used a sealer and primer and then paint. Will a claybar work? Or what?

Try Goof Off Graffitti Remover, you can get it at most large hardware super stores.

not from my experiences. i got some black paint on my t/a, and after it had dried on for a whole day, used the goof off and it took it right off. no issues with the clear coat. i also used it to remove the adhesive left behind when i removed the letters/molding from my car.

I used WD-40 to take off overspray on my hood and fender areas, when Mc Donalds decided to repaint the outside of the store....It worked great on the overspray and on roadtar and bugs....then just wash the car and make sure the area is clean like you want and then wax it....

just had same problem, epoxy over-spray, white on my black car, now looks "metallic". yay. (all with clay bar, i no have buffer) i tried goof off ~ ok. tried goof off # two ~ do not use it dulled my paint a lot. tried a tar and bug grime remover ~ left white goo from clay bar all over. best i found is... drum roll please after tinkering for weeks... : WINDEX and CLAY BAR! remember use in grid like patterns, up/down and then side/side, not circles. it does dull a small amount, but a good wax, or polish will fix.

Had some teenagers come through my neighborhood a couple years back. Spray painted everyone's cars. I used goof off, claybar, and buffed it. Looked good as new.
