primer color question

Default primer color question

I wanted to know what color primer should i use for a black base coat. should i use gray or the black primer?

If you are using a hi-build primer like PPG K36... it will be gray.
If you spray a sealer over the primer after you block it, you can spray PPG's DP90... it is a black sealer.
Black is the best covering paint color out there, so it doesnt really matter what color you spray it over... the black will cover it. But in answering your question(kinda) either gray or black is fine.
