Default need input on how to fix this door

I was wondering if somebody could provide me some input/recommendations on how to fix this door. To make a long story short, the door was froze shut one winter and I ended up pulling the door right apart trying to get in.
I was thinking maybe I could try sanding the inside of it and applying some sort of adhesive and then clamp it with some C clamps to dry. How would a body shop go about fixing this?Think they would need to take the door off? Thanks
Here's a picture of what i'm talking about...

well its obvious that the panel bond failed, what i would do is remove the belt molding, by hand sand with some 80, i use fusor products using panel bond on the frame and the skin get some wood paint sticks to put on the outside of the skin

start clamping the skin down working your way up the skin it has to sit for 24 hours so panel bond cures

Cool thanks. I'll look into getting some of that panel bonding adhesive. It doesn't sound too hard.

I once bought a 94 polo green lt1 with the door skin coming off just like that...
I believe any good body shop will take the door off the car, take the skin completely off and re-glue the whole thing.
I did mine myself.
I scraped the old glue/epoxy off real well, then sanded it with whatever rough grit sandpaper I had. Then glued it with corvette panel adhesive and clamped it with some good c clamps I sandwiched with rubber on either end.
It wasnt cheap stuff but was STRONG!
I bought the one in a tube with a special tip that mixed it while you applied it so it was very clean and real easy.
Held up the whole time I owned it.. I'd guess even to this day

Do you recall what adhesive you used? That's weird how you had the same problem with the same year/color and all. I looked into the 3m panel bonding adhesive and also the lord products. It looks like you just get a cartridge of the stuff, which requires an applicator gun to use it with. With the cartridge and applicator gun i'm looking at well over $100.
