Electronic rust-proofing?
So a buddy told me about this and said wow... it sounds amazing why doesnt everyone do this? He said because noone simply knows about it.
So I did a quick google and bam I find a slew of rust prevention electric devices and also the normal slew of people saying its crap its just a gimmick.
What you guys think? Does it actually work? Or is it just another fake?

Gimmick, unless there is something I misunderstand about them. For the love of god your car is used as a ground for your electrical system...what does this do electrocute oxidation?
If it worked, the makers of por-15, etc. would be out of business for sure lol

So looks like "ruststop" seems to be the premiere device of the lot lol. Interestingly enough the #1 google result is a site claiming its all bs and that electronic cathonic protection simply CANT work on cars because there's nothing to complete the circuit.
i.e. boats complete with water, buildings complete with earth, cars complete with rubber... UH OH.
lol i'd still like to hear opinions and/or reviews tho. Maybe they figured out a way to pull it off.

Well there is no way to get an EARTH ground on your car, but you can ground and complete a circuit. It's how the car operates. The chassis is the ground, which connects to the neg/ground terminal on the battery. This stuff just seems to be a gimmick though, simply put if it was powerful enough to cause a magnetic polarity in the chassis, it would interfere with your electronics and wreak havoc with the computer. I just don't see the science behind it.
