has anyone ever had a rocker panel damaged its right underneth the drivers door soemthing cam up and dented it grrrrrrr!! just trying to get a fill of around about cost is it worth getting insurance involved or just let a local body shop fix im just so scared of bringing to body shops cause my car has no dents or dings its a garage queen just affraid going to come back beat up

I have seen people take the plastic guard off below the door, cut that peel it back and take a screwdriver/ rod of metal to beat it back into shape and then body the rocker. Fold the metal back down, weld/paint, and put the plastic back on.
