Default Can you sand spray paint?

So I'm painting over my valve covers and I did 3 layers of primer with light sanding in between and then 4 coats of color without any sanding. But now that is has dried overnight there are some small bubbling and imperfections on the surface of the paint. Can I take a fine sandpaper and sand those out and then do another coat?

If I can, is it too early to sand after letting it dry 14 hours? It says paint fully dries 24 hours later.

Its trial and error really. I work in a body shop and some paints will work fine and others will lift and get real ugly. I'd do your first re-coat real light and let it tack up first. Applying a wet coat right off the bat is an invitation to disaster with newly applied spray bomb.

I'd say sand with 1000 grit to smooth it all out and apply a clear over it, not another coat of color.
