Default Wingless.....

I'm having paint work done on my car, and thought I'd post some pics of something I was considering. I have since decided to maintain use of the T/A spoiler/wing, but thought that this kinda looked cool/unique.

Posted here for anyone who might have ever thought about this as a possibility;

Hmm, from the side it looks pretty good I won't lie.
But from the rear it looks way to naked.

Love that color btw

There is an older Mazda model which is strikingly similar also. I did some body work recently and took some bad cell phone pics of my ride looking like that and Im not too fond of its looks.

Yeah, I was actually more than a bit indecisive about it. If the rear bumper was tucked in towards the car more, I probably would have done it. It would have somewhat resembled a 'Vette. Kinda weird, but it actually looks better in person....a really unique "rounded" look.

It looks unbalance since we are used to seeing these cars with spoilers. The RKsport spoiler would look nice. There is a picture of a black trans am floating around that has it.

No, it looks like the RX7s fat ugly sister . FDs are one of my favorite cars, probably why I hate how much a wingless Firebird looks like a fatter version of an FD. Firebirds are one of the very few cars that I wouldn't want wingless.

I have always wanted to see someone try a more subtle version of the spoiler they did on the '03 GM Peformance Firebird. I think it would look great if it wasn't as squared off, and maybe half as tall. Somewhat similar to the lines of an SS spoiler basically.

I've said it before and i'll say it again. a 4th gen trans am without a spoiler looks like a 2nd gen ford **** probe.
