Default Paint Pens (Touch-Up)?

I used to have a bookmarked link from a sponsor here (a long time ago) that you could buy touch up paint (like the paint pens for small dings and chips from rocks) but I lost it, and I cannot remember what sponsor it is/was.

I have a rare color car, the 99 only color "Medium Blue Metallic" and after a 200 mile drive over the cascades and back there are a few new chips that I'd like to touch up since the paint is near perfect.

Thanks guys

Judging by the low responses here, there is no longer the sponsor or there are plenty and I just can't find them... Haha.

I have a friend at Advance. They have a very nice paint marker selection now and if you have your paint code they can order you the ones they don't have in stock. Check it out!

Ok after searching numerous sites I've found three that can supply paint pens in my color for me.

Half of the chips are down to the metal on the hood.

So now, I know I have to get a paint pen for the actual color of the car, and then I'll get a clear coat pen to paint over the chip when the color base is on it to make it match better. But do I need to get a primer paint pen as well?

I'm new to the paint pen process and am not sure on the correct way to do this so it doesn't look worse that it already does. Thanks!

Those paint pens are a single stage paint, no need for a clear pen. Clear pens are for repairing chips in just the clear coat. Get some blue or green masking tape to make this easier. Clean the car first and dry thoroughly. Dab the paint into the chip and place a square of the masking tape over it an let it dry. Remove the tape and if you can still see a dimple, apply more paint to the spot and let dry, repeat as many times as needed. Wet sand with a piece of 2000 grit and polish the area out. You'll never notice the repair unless the color doesn't match.
