Default Mini Tub questions

First off I've looked at everything in this thread, but I have a few more questions.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-ti...5s-345s-5.html

The car is my brother's 95 Camaro, and it has a rot issue in the wheel wells. We found while we had the interior out for a swap. Apparently it must of been this way for some time, but anyway on to some of the questions.

Would it be worth it to just repair that or would it be better just to mini tub it?

I know the bumpstops would have to come out, but does anyone who has done this have any issues with it?

Are there any shops in PA that have experience with installing these, and how much would it cost roughly?

As it sits now it is on shooters and a 245/50 tire, with stamped steel control arms, factory springs, factory shocks, but with a spohn adjustable panhard bar. As far as future plans it will be getting some bigger tires, though I doubt it will ever see a 345. I just think it would be better to do this than just try to repair the damage that has been done already.

Tubing is a lot of work! 3 patch panels would be so easy to do. The steel sheet metal on the tubs is pretty thin, so it would probably rust through very quickly anyways. Not worth it when you can still fit 315's with little hammer work.

That driver's side panel is rotted pretty far down. I think it would just be better to mini tub it. As far as the sheet metal being thin, the car isn't driven in the winter and it would be getting undercoated after its done.

The 4th gens are not easy to do. But with some work and a little time, it can be done and look badass. I think it would look good

i would get it repaired. its not worth the money to mini tub if your not going to use the realestate. those cancer spots can easily be patched, and be reliable and last long, like anything else if done correctly. and for a fraction of the cost
