How do I maintain new paint?
So I bought my first fbody three weeks ago. The only problem is that the paint was peeling. So two weeks ago I took my car to Mastif Racing and Restoration in Deland, and I will be getting it back on Wednesday. So I basically want to prevent the paint from sun damage, so it never peels again. I would also like it to be shiny. What products do you recommend?

Keep it clean n waxed, but give it a month or so before you wax fresh paint to allow the solvents to release.keep it out of the sun if you can but don't cover with a tarp or anything as they usually cause more damage than help.
Check with the detail guys in the appearance section I know alot of them use zaino, but I haven't tried it yet.meguires is probably fine.

i do agree about waxing it however, dont wax the new/fresh paint for at least 60 days. you want the paint to completely cure first. you shouldn't have any issues with paint peel as long as the prep work was done correctly.

30 days, then Cajun Shine. It is so easy to use, shines better than anything I have ever used (and I have used almost all of them...), and protects great. My wife's 2005 Scion with 120k miles has never been stored inside. Except for stone chips and such, paint looks lie new.
