paint shops in texas that does good work?

My suggestion would be to research, read some books on body work/prep and do as much as you can - and put more money towards a quality or even custom paint job.
Straightening and aligning body panels is easy, so is blocking and sanding - just takes a lot of time and patience. Im weird I guess since I find that stuff fun

Only one shop far as i'm sayin Carter paint & body in austin. Don't know of any contests around but if there was there would be no question! Steve's work speaks for itself and he stands way above any i've ever seen. Been around cars for 67 years too so i've seen a couple.
Don't take anybody's word including mine but do check his work out.
