Default Engine bay prep ?s

I'm going to rattle can my engine bay, but I have a couple spots of surface rust and some bare metal where brake fluid took the paint off. What is the best method to prep these areas for paint?

I've read about it quite a bit, but I'm still confused on some things. Do I hit the bare areas with etching primer, or epoxy? Also, I'll be spraying the Duplicolor Perfect Match rattle can for color; do I need a sealer before laying color, since it's a metallic? (Sebring Silver car) And what's the best way to remove the rust? A red scuff pad, or wire wheel?

Here's what I have to work with:

Just use a Rustoleum self etching primer. Also, what can of Duplicolor Perfect Match did you get? What is the part number on it?
