3M window weld on roof panel?

3M window weld on roof panel? I replaced my passenger side quarter on my 02 Z28 and need to glue the lower part of the sail panel back down. I have a tube of 3M window weld that was recommended to me by my paint supplier to glue the rubber SS pad to the chrome bumper on my 70 Chevelle. I am planing on gluing down the sail panel at the same time, but have concerns about off gassing and bubbling problems on the Camaro roof. It is going in the booth in the next couple days. Any experience with 3M window weld?
