Default No clear coat?

I like the way that the paint looks before I shot the clear coat... Can I just leave paint? Like spray paint and then no clear coat? What will happen?

if a bird ***** on it, its going to get a etch mark super easy and itll scratch real easy, if you want a matte color then spray with a low gloss clear

bad idea.you won't be able to rub or buff.and it will dull later down the road.it would be good idea to put clear coat.or you could've used 1k paint

if you just leave the base coat on (assuming your talking about base clear)
leaving the base unprotected is just gonna let the base go to **** in no time at all not to mention be soooooooo easy to scratch chip and or fall off...

and then your gonna have to sand it all off and do it over again

so not a good idea

check out Eastwood they make a nice flat black single stage. I've Sprayed a jet ski and tins on a Harley with it and have had very nice results. It also holds up well even on the jet ski in salt water. Also DuPont makes what's called a flat maker which is added to clear coat to give it a flat look. Both are better ways then just leaving base on ur car it will end up chalky looking within a year
