clear coat on 35th stripes

clear coat on 35th stripes I just got my 35th Stripes and want to know if there is any problem clear coat over it ?
to make it like paint not stickers , as it cheaper and wont take time
and if someone done it , how much it last ? pix ?

I did this exact think on a 79 T/A I had. After I put all the decals on it I decided to put 2 more coats of clear over them.
Came out great. Made the decals glossy too. I did this in 1992 and sold the car in 1999 still looked great.
On another note I would not be the poor bastard to get all that crap off for another repaint...lol

Yes it can be done very easily. I would suggest using a clear without reducer though. the reducer will cause issues alot of the time. I recommend using ppg shopline speed clear. it lays down really smooth and dries real quick and is very good for painting over stickers
