Hey guys, I was recently in an accident and am in need of a right rear quarter for my 02 convertible T/A. I am having a heck of a time finding a replacement. is there any truth to a rumor I heard that the qtrs on camaros and firebirds are interchangeable? i'm trying to get new metal if I can and am just trying to figure out my options...thnx

 

camaro's and firebirds are different.

 

I would look for local salvage yards or guy that have wrecked their cars and are parting them out. I would first pull the quarter panel out and get it as straight as possible to where there are only dents. Then cut the skin out, or whatever is damage and take a look at what you'll be needing.

Also, don't forget to post up in the "wanted section" as well as your local "regional" section on the forum. It'll increase your chances of finding one. Good luck
