Default Questions about clear coat.

I have kept up with waxing my car over the years. However, with the Texas heat, I noticed that the clear coat started messing up right next to the antenna. I don't know anything about this kind of stuff, so I'm hoping some of the gurus over in this section can help me out. Can someone tell me what this should cost me to fix if I take it to a body shop? I don't want to get ripped off, so I'm just wanting to know what to expect when I get the quote. Thanks for the help.

I believe they will have to wet sand all the existing clear off that panel and then respray the entire panel with clear if I am not mistaken. Not sure on price though, I'm sure some other will help you out there.

Thanks for the quick reply. Any information is appreciated because like I said, I don't have a clue about paint and body work.

That's a lot better than I thought it would be. I was expecting a lot more. Thanks for looking it up for me.
