Painting graphics on 3m wrap?
So my SS is starting to look a little sad paint wise, and I need a new front bumper and the cme trim painted to match the car so I was thinking of wrapping it instead, Brushed black metallic on a factory black finish. My only hang up on doing this is that I really don't like a plain Jane SS, I think they look better with a manta, hockey or rally stripes... Can I paint stripes onto the vinyl after I apply it to the car?

Why do you answer a question with a question? Kidding.... I don't really like any of the stripes available in kits, and painting on the wrap is pretty commitment free.

not sure, I'd contact 3M to see if they'd recommend it. Have you checked www.camarographics.com for stripe kits? they have some nice ones. And you certainly wouldnt have any issues adding vinyl stripes on top of the wrap, I have decals on some of the wrapped things in my car.
