Default Block and engine bay

So i own a black ws6

Im thinking ill just keep the engine bay gloss black. I was considering satin thinking it would be easier to keep clean but i was wondering how much work it is to bondo the holes from my wire hide. Also what primer and paint did you use?

I was also going to paint my block since its a bit dengy.

I was thinking silver or black but open to other ideas?

Its not hard to fill the holes,i used the 2 part epoxy mix,but when i have the bay repainted im going to have them welded,i used the dupicolor perfect match to paint the engine bay with a high temp clear, looks good but i dont like the gloss,so im just going to do a flat aw type deal, there are lots of good threads and tips

I originally had satin black in mine and it was a royal pain to keep clean. I actually just finished repainting mine. I used VHT Roll Bar/Chassis black and it worked great. Perfect amount of sheen to it. Just put it on over a rattle can high build primer. heres some before and after pics.

Like stated above if you have access to a welder to fill the holes its kind off a definetly weld situation, but if not bondo will be just fine.

my only fear doing it that way is in past experience ittl last well for a year or two but eventually it will crack out and you have to start from scratch, still works fine but it depends how permanent of a solution your looking for

If the engine is out (sounds like it is) and you have access to a welder, it's a no brainer. A good epoxy will suffice if you don't.
