Side View mirrior removal
Side View mirrior removal I havent taken a look at it yet but i tried searching the subject on google and i have someone whos going to repaint mine if i take them off. I tried to look in alldata as well and that came up empty too. I knew someones taken then off before and put them back on. How difficult is it once you get the door panel off, if you even have to remove the door panel. All i reallly need is the outside part if they are two seperate pieces to have it painted.

You don't have to remove the door panel.. There is a little triangular cap above the door panel up front with a single screw holding it on.. Remove the screw & pull the cap off.. You will see 3 nuts, remove those & unplug the wire harness going to the mirror & you're done.
Indeed, as simple as this. only issue, if it was anything like my girls 93' Z28, there are little plastic inserts that keep it aligned. try not to lose those. vibrations will make it turn about and look funny
