Default 2000 firebird headlight motor replacement

Both of mine are shot and was wanting to know where would be the best place to get them(if possible with the brass gear). Thanks in advance.

Are the gears just stripped or are the motors actually bad? I'm not aware of anybody selling the motors with the brass gear already installed. That being said, the last time I replaced my motor (because it had already been repaired once before but used a stock gear), I bought the motor at AutoZone and got the brass gear from Top Down Solutions. It's really easy to replace the gear in a new motor.

There's a guy on ebay in Indiana who sells reconditioned headlight motors with a 2 or 3 year warrenty. I haven't personally tried him but I will. It sounds like a good deal. His name is carguy something or other. Just type in 2000 firebird headlight motor and find his listings.

I recently (2-months) bought 2 brand NEW Cardone motors from Advance Auto online using one of their coupon promotion codes thats they always have. Installed them and haven't had a single issue. The motors are $135 each and you can use TRT41 and get $40 off. Buy them seperate and use the promotion twice. That way you get 2 new motors with a warranty for only $200. I know many people like to go the brass gear route, but if you just want to go a plug and play route then this way works.
