car cover

Tried searching. My gf got me a budge semi custom premium car cover for my birthday. Car is kept in the garage so don't need water protection. Just dust. But I hear some covers can scratch the paint. Anyone have any insight on these covers?

wash before using, if its in a garage then wind causing the cover to move around (creating scratches from the dust) probably won't be an issue.

Yep like said already if its in a garage dont worry about it car cover is a wonderful thing to have. Outside is a totally different story

I've had a California car cover for years and it's treated me well. Car is garage kept, hasn't scratched it yet and it's black(the car).

Go to a Goodwill or Salvation Army and buy polar fleece blanks that people make or buy used Flannel bed sheets lay them down before you put the cover over that's what I have done for the last 2 yrs no scratchs and I have Black hard top.
