Replacing and matching seam seal
Replacing and matching seam seal Had a body seal with a slight leak in the trunk. Pulled the factory seam seal and put some silicone on the suspected area and waited. Leak has stopped and now I am ready to reseal it.
Looking for suggestions on what product to use. If I need to use a self leveling or not. I am trying to match the factory as best I can with a product that doesn't require a special applicator.
This is at the top of my list so far.

I'd suggest the 3M stuff as well; I've always had really good luck with it. Comes in a tube and applies with a caulking gun as said previously. Apply it, smooth it out with your finger or a brush, then paint.
