Questions about detailing

Questions about detailing I have never detailed in my life other than watching my car. I have a lot of swirls and a few scratches in my car so I bought meguiars swirlx, scratchx, polish, wax, and shampoo & conditioner. I was wondering in which order I'm supposed to use these chemicals. I believe I mentioned them in the correct order, I just want to be sure.
