Sorry about the slow reply but I have been on the beach for the last week. The rocker panel extensions have 2 studs that go into the fender with speed nuts on the back side and the rest are just clips. Just had to drill a bunch of holes. Thanks for the compliments again! I would much rather have a firehawk hood but I just don't have it in the budget right now and the stock hood didn't have enough going on. I just don't see being able to get as much air flow through the shaker as I do with the SLP lid and cut out bottom box so I don't think I will make it functional. Could be wrong but I just don't see it flowing any better. Wouldn't want to cover my pretty painted intake either and I think my alternator would be in the way as well. Just not a fan of the WS6 hoods either. I bought the car back for $1k. I have a warehouse full of left over parts from 3 cars I need to start selling to offset some cost.

Some nice aftermarket wheels are next on the list but luckily these cars came with some pretty good looking wheels so I'm not in a huge rush to replace them. Maybe if I sold both of my stock sets I could come close to covering the cost of some nice aftermarket rims.

I tried almost every combination of paint schemes on the silver TA and liked this one the best. I like my sail panels black, as do many other 4th gen TA owners, to flow with the (tinted) windows and hatch. I originally painted everything above the window line black. Mirrors, sail panel, and wing. Didn't like it. Looked like it was pieced together to me. Painted the top only of the wing body color but left the bottom black and loved it. Mirrors still looked out of place to me so I painted them body color and I think it came out great, matching the top of the wing in interrupting the black top half of the car. I even painted the headlight doors black to see how it looked. Didn't even bother screwing them down. I wish I would have taken pictures of the experimentation on the silver TA. Just thought I would explain the process of how I came to this color scheme. Being a painter and having enough spare body parts lying around to build 2 or 3 of these made it pretty easy though.

Not much change just added the sail panel decals. Bought a 94 Eldorado for a daily driver and a 72 El Camino that I'm putting a gen3 5.3l vortec in so the TA hasn't gotten much love lately.

About maybe 10 months after he lost custody of me. He unfortunately took his own life, that was March of 2017 over 3 years ago. I now live with my mom and stepdad. I think his best friend now own the Trans Am but i'm not too sure. I think the plan is to give it to me when I turn 16 in about 10 months (may of 2021 ill be 16) but honestly who knows. I haven't seen the car in years and have no idea what shape it's in.
